Why use this?
Transparent handling builds trust. Customers enroll more willingly when they see what they agree to.
Proper consent protects you legally because you documented agreement to contact.
Less but relevant data is easier to manage and reduces risk.
Step by step
- Open Customer data and collect only necessary fields.
- Write clear consent copy if you plan marketing messages.
- If a customer requests deletion, find them in Customers.
- Delete the customer record to remove their data from the program.
- Ask them to remove the pass from Wallet if they no longer want to use it.
What to know about customer data
- Name and email are optional; anonymous enrollment is possible.
- Marketing consent is separate: send newsletters only with explicit opt-in.
- Customer data can be exported for reporting and your own records.
- Honor deletion requests and remove the customer from the system.
