Any missing or changing business details will be updated on this page before or during public launch.
2. Definitions
"Business user", a business (and its authorised admins) that operates a loyalty program with the Service.
"Staff user", a person invited by a business user to use the dashboard and/or the STMPR Scanner app to issue stamps and redeem rewards.
"End customer", a person who receives a business's loyalty card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. End customers do not need a stmpr account.
"Pass", the digital loyalty card issued to an end customer.
3. Service scope
stmpr is a digital loyalty card product for small businesses. It replaces paper stamp cards with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet compatible cards, and provides card creation, distribution, scanning (issuing stamps and redeeming rewards), customer records, notifications, and analytics.
The Service includes the public website, the business dashboard, and the STMPR Scanner staff apps (iOS and Android). The scanner apps support offline use, queuing actions on the device and syncing them when a connection returns.
Planned future capabilities, such as push/pass notifications and campaigns, location-aware pass relevance, CSV export, and an external API with webhooks and point-of-sale (POS) integrations, are covered by these Terms and the Privacy Policy as they are released. Features, pricing, and timing may change.
4. Access and eligibility
Business users must be at least 18 and provide accurate business information. Staff users gain access by invitation from a business user and may belong to more than one business.
End customers must be at least 16 to receive a pass; they use the card through their mobile wallet without creating an account.
You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Staff scanner access is limited to the invited scope.
5. Waitlist and communications
Joining the waitlist creates no payment obligation and does not guarantee access, launch timing, or final pricing.
After signup we may email you about launch, early access, pricing, and product news. You can unsubscribe at any time or request deletion.
6. Orders, subscriptions and payment
For paid plans, a contract is formed by completing an online order or agreeing in writing. The selected plan, fee, billing period, and any custom terms are shown in the order flow or offer.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing cycle until cancelled. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers; the provider does not store full card numbers.
On cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid period, with no refund for the remaining period unless required by law. After a subscription ends, the account may become read-only for a limited window before data is deleted (see the Privacy Policy for retention).
7. Acceptable use
You must use the Service lawfully. You may not disrupt the system, attempt unauthorised access, send spam, scrape at scale, or upload unlawful content.
Notifications and any broadcast/campaign features may only be used for your own loyalty program. You may not advertise or link to unrelated third parties, send abusive or excessive messages, or share, sell, or transfer end-customer data to other businesses.
You are responsible for ensuring your loyalty program rules, promotions, pricing, and customer communications are lawful, accurate, and not misleading.
8. Customer data and data protection (DPA)
For end-customer data collected through a loyalty program, the business user is the data controller and Leimeter Roland e.v. acts as a data processor, handling that data only on the business user's documented instructions.
Each business's data is kept logically separated; the provider does not match or combine end-customer data across different businesses. Sub-processors are listed in the Privacy Policy.
The provider notifies the relevant business without undue delay (and, where feasible, within 72 hours) after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting that business's data. Any support access to a business's data is limited, purpose-bound, and logged.
9. Digital cards and third-party platforms
Apple Wallet and Google Wallet features depend on Apple and Google platforms and their APIs (including push updates to passes). Their own terms, availability, and technical rules also apply.
Sign-in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, payment providers, email delivery, browsers, and operating systems are third-party services. The provider is not responsible for outages or restrictions caused by them.
10. Availability and offline use
The provider aims to keep the Service stable but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and may perform maintenance.
The scanner apps can operate offline and sync queued actions later; the provider is not responsible for issues arising from a device being offline, losing data locally, or failing to sync due to factors outside the provider's control.
11. Intellectual property
The stmpr name, logo, website, apps, design, software, and content are owned by the provider or its licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended.
You retain ownership of content you upload (such as your logo and card branding) and grant the provider a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display it solely to operate the Service. Copying, reverse engineering, reselling, or unauthorised use is prohibited.
12. Liability
The Service is provided with professional care but "as is". The provider does not guarantee that a loyalty program automatically complies with all business, tax, consumer-protection, or marketing laws.
To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, or data loss, and total liability is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes
The provider may update these Terms when the product, legal environment, or operations change. Material changes are announced with reasonable notice. The current version, with its last-updated date, is always on this page.
14. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. For questions or complaints, contact [email protected].
