Nearby reminder message
A short message that a guest sees near your store.
The nearby reminder text appears when a customer is close to your store. Apple and Google Wallet handle display; stmpr does not track customers in the background.
Keep the message short and friendly. Customers may see it on the lock screen or in Wallet suggestions.
Turn it on per location on the card Locations tab.
Why use this?
Location reminders are passive marketing: customers get a nudge even if they did not open your app.
A personal tone (for example “We would love to see you for coffee!”) beats generic ads.
You do not use push quota for Wallet location suggestions.
Step by step
- Open the card Locations tab.
- Select the location row.
- Enable the nearby reminder message.
- Write a short friendly line (for example “We are 50 meters away, collect your stamp!”).
- Save the card.
- Test on your own phone by walking near the store.
