Redeem a reward in the scanner
Redeem at the counter from the scanner app.
When a customer has enough stamps, scan the pass in the scanner app and choose Redeem reward.
Redemption is logged and stamps reset or update per program rules.
Optional notes record what the customer received (for example “Free cappuccino”).
Why use this?
Redemption updates the pass immediately so the customer can start collecting again.
Logging helps reports and dispute resolution.
Same outcome as the dashboard, but more practical at the counter.
Step by step
- Scan the customer QR in the scanner app.
- Choose Redeem reward.
- Confirm they reached the required stamp count.
- Confirm redemption and add an optional note.
- Stamps reset or update per program rules.
- Ask the customer to check the updated Wallet pass.
